TASTING NOTES

After experimenting with Cabernet in the blend last year for an adventurous diversion, we decided to return to our Pinot, Grenache, Syrah trio in 2023. Call it nostalgia if you like, but it feels like coming home. As fans of our Rosé have come to expect, the dazzling electric cherry color makes a bold statement in the bottle, on the table and in the glass, while the palate reveals a more complete and serious wine than some might expect. Bright red cherry, raspberry, watermelon, spice and a long, satisfying finish with outstanding freshness and lift. As we have said before, pure deliciousness and fun, but at the same time so much more than just a casual sipper.

Roughly 50% of the juice is barrel fermented, creating gorgeous flavors that stick around for a while in the glass to happily pair with some of your favorite foods. Like it's varietal parent Pinot Noir, this rosé goes with just about anything fabulously well while being quite delighted to also entertain you on its own. Let's all raise a glass to summer! Plus fall, all the holidays and the new year too.

Winemaker's note: You'll find more wispy sediment in the bottle this year than last. We opted not to fine the wine at all, preferring to preserve 100% of its natural texture in a year blessed with such vibrant acidity. Think of that billowy little whisper at the bottom of the bottle as nerdy proof we know what matters most.
