For those who know and know they love it, Syrah remains one of the most alluring big reds out there. Expressive fruit combined with spicey, savory goodness all wrapped in a package that can drink exuberantly young yet age effortlessly for decades.

Our 2022 Kalen’s fits this description to a T. A meticulously assembled blend of Russian River Valley and Bennett Valley Syrah offers up ripe black fruit, a touch of blueberry, assertive yet refined palate weight, signature black pepper with hints of sweet pipe tobacco and leather on the finish. This bottle is an entire flavor meal on its own, meant to go with all the meals at your table that warm your body and soul on a brisk fall or winter evening. (Personal note: It’s perfectly OK to drink Syrah in the spring and summer if you are so inclined ;-)

Kalen’s tends to shine best after a few years of bottle age, but we have done everything we could to make this a genuine pleasure sooner as well as later. So crack one open for yourself and decide how long you want to keep the rest!
